(South Stormont) – On August 30, 2016 at approximately 9:01am, an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division (HSD) officer intercepted a vehicle on Highway 138, South Stormont Township. A check of the male driver indicated that his driving privileges were disqualified from a previous incident.
Trevor BUDERY (48) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving while Disqualified
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on October 6, 2016.
DRUGS SEIZED
(North Glengarry) – On August 31, 2016 at approximately 8:00pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) OPP officer intercepted a male at a residence on Lochiel Street in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. A quantity of suspected methamphetamine was seized as a result.
Johnathan HALL (28) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
