(South Glengarry) – On April 13, 2015 at approximately 12:15pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a property on John Street, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that a female youth was refusing to leave the property. Upon arresting the suspect, officers seized a quantity of suspected marihuana. While in custody, the youth caused damage in the cell area at an OPP detachment.
The 14-year-old female from South Glengarry Township is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance – Under 30 Grams
– Mischief Under $5000
– Fail to Leave Premises when Directed (Trespass to Property Act)
She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on May 7, 2015.
THEFT OF COMMERCIAL TRAILER
(North Glengarry) – Between April 10-12, 2015, a commercial trailer was stolen while parked at a commercial property on County Road 20, North Glengarry Township. The unit is described as;
– 1990 53’ aluminum flatbed “Reitnouer Big” trailer, grey, four axles with aluminum rims, loaded with metal rebar. The load was covered with a black tarp.
An investigation continues.
