DOMESTIC/BREACH INVESTIGATION

(South Glengarry) – On April 20, 2015 at approximately 7:47pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on William Street, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his common-law spouse resulted in the female being assaulted. No injuries resulted. Further information also revealed the accused was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.

A 55-year-old male from South Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Assault – Spousal

– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall today (April 21, 2015).

THEFTS

(North Glengarry) – Between April 17-20, 2015, an aluminum black/white homemade enclosed trailer, bearing Quebec plate #RE9628T was stolen from a property on County Road 30, North Glengarry Township. The trailer contained various power tools.

(South Dundas) – On April 18, 2015 between 3-10:00pm, a red/yellow 17 speed Mountain Bike was stolen from a property on Broder Crescent, South Dundas Township.

Investigations continue on the above.
