DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS
(North Dundas) – On May 14, 2015 at approximately 3:54pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on St-Lawrence Street, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his girlfriend resulted in the male causing damage within the home and the female attempting to prevent the male from leaving the residence. Both were arrested.
Vincent BEAUDOIN (19) of Ottawa, Ontario is charged with;
– Mischief Under $5000
Jenna ROGERS (23) of North Dundas Township is charged with;
– Forcible Confinement
Both were released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on May 26, 2015.
(South Dundas) – On May 14, 2015 at approximately 8:13pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Lakeshore Drive, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult female and her same-sex partner resulted in the partner being assaulted and her vehicle damaged. Further information also revealed that the accused was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
The 48-year-old female from South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
– Mischief Under $5000
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (3 counts)
She was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall today (May 15, 2015). Her name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
DRUGS SEIZED AT TRAFFIC STOP
(South Stormont) – On May 14, 2015 at approximately 7:53am, OPP Highway Safety Division (HSD) officers intercepted a vehicle on Highway 401, South Stormont Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana and cannabis resin.
The male driver, Christopher SAHAKIAN (22) of Dollard Des Ormeaux, Quebec and male passenger, Christopher CARTER (23) of Beaconsfield, Quebec were arrested and each charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
Both were released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on June 30, 2015.
