STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED
(South Glengarry) – On May 20, 2015 at approximately 9:08am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on Fraser Road in South Glengarry Township. The vehicle was completely burnt and not salvageable. Investigation indicated that vehicle was stolen from a residence on Froats Road in North Dundas the previous day.
An investigation continues.
MISCHIEF
(North Dundas) – On May 20, 2015 at approximately 10:46am, SD&G OPP responded to a report of a Mischief in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had caused damage to a vehicle of a family member.
The 54-year-old male from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief Under $5,000
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on July 07, 2015. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
