DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

(South Glengarry) – On August 12, 2015 at approximately 10:57am, Stormont, Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Heron Road, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a female and her ex-spouse resulted in the male being assaulted on an earlier date.

The 37-year-old female from South Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Assault

She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on September 15, 2015. The name of the accused is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

THEFT AND BREACH OF CONDITIONS

(North Glengarry) – On August 10, 2015 at approximately 8:01pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a theft from a Motor Vehicle on Centre Street, North Glengarry Township. Investigation revealed that an adult male was removing items from vehicles and has since fled the scene. SD&G OPP identified the male and an arrest was made on August 12, 2015 The male was also in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.

Corey HELLIKER (29) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Theft Under $5000 from a Motor Vehicle

– Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Probation Order

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
