BREACH OF CONDITIONS

(South Glengarry) – On October 6, 2015 at approximately 10:04am Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers intercepted a vehicle on County Road 34, North Glengarry Township. Investigation revealed that a youth male driver was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.

The 17-year-old male of South Glengarry was arrested and is charged with;

– Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking (2 counts)

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on December 9, 2015. The name of the accused is being withheld in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).

EXCESSIVE SPEEDS

(South Stormont) – On October 6, 2015, SD&G OPP officer conducted speed measuring enforcement on Highway 401, South Stormont Townships and intercepted the following vehicle for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.

– October 6, 2015 – 9:11am (South Stormont); vehicle stopped travelling 153km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (32) from South Glengarry, Ontario was charged accordingly.

THEFT OF LEAF BLOWER

(North Glengarry) – On October 6, 2015 at approximately 1:15pm, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft of an Leaf blower from a property on Pitt Street, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime between (September 10- October 6, 2015) Culprit(s) removed a “Shindaiwa” Leaf Blower from the property.

An investigation continues.
