(North Glengarry) – On February 2, 2016 at approximately 10:01pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a vehicle on Main Street in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of quantities of suspected marihuana, methamphetamine and hydromorphone. Further information also indicated that the male driver was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
Michel PIETTE (43) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (3 counts)
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (2 counts)
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Recognizance (4 counts)
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
UTTER THREATS
(South Dundas) – On February 3, 2016 at approximately 9:29pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a threats incident at a property on First Street, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had threatened two (2) other individuals. Further information also revealed that he was in contravention of a condition imposed from a previous incident.
Michael LYON (35) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Utter Threats (2 counts)
– Fail to Comply with a Recognizance
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
