Stormont, Dundas And Glengarry OPP Press Release

(South Dundas) – On May 6, 2017 at approximately 7:04pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle on County Road 31, South Dundas Township. The stop indicated that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Christopher LUNN (55) of Smiths Falls, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Driving a Motor Vehicle While Ability Impaired

– Driving a Motor Vehicle With More Than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on June 6, 2017.

(North Dundas) – On May 7, 2017 at approximately 8:56am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 5, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Ashley ST-JOHN (29) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Driving a Motor Vehicle While Ability Impaired

– Driving a Motor Vehicle With More Than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood

She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on May 25, 2017.

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

(South Glengarry) – On May 6, 2017 at approximately 1:05pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Military Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his same-sex partner resulted in the other male being threatened. Further information revealed historical incidents of assault (November 2016) and mischief (April 2017).

The 32-year-old male from South Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Uttering Threats (2 counts)

– Assault – Spousal

– Mischief – Domestic

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

BREACH OF CONDITION

(North Dundas) – On May 7, 2017 at approximately 8:14am, an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle on County Road 13, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that the adult male driver was in contravention of a condition (remain at residence) imposed from a previous incident.

James DILLABOUGH (41) of North Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Fail to Comply with Recognizance

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.

DO YOU OWN THIS ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE (ATV)?

(North Dundas) – SD&G OPP are requesting assistance in identifying the owner of an ATV recovered in the Village of Chesterville, North Dundas Township. On April 27, 2017 at approximately 10:15pm, a red youth sized ATV was recovered on Water Street but the owner has not yet been identified. If this is your property, please contact SD&G OPP (Winchester Detachment) at 613-774-2603.
