Several people have complained on FaceBook that the fallen stop sign was not the result of town staff’s epic incompetence and apathy, but storm damage.
The next council meeting is 7PM 18Jan2016 at Wingham Town Hall. Emperor Neil Vincent should allow free discussion of this topic during the Public Gallery portion of the meeting. If it was storm damage, they have nothing to fear by being questioned. If it was gross negligence on kelly church’s part, he should be fired immediately for incompetence and putting our lives at risk. If our Great Oppressor Neil Vincent refuses to allow discussion, you know it’s a cover up and council and senior management are moral degenerates participating in that cover up.
WFP has been blamed for jumping the gun and blaming our lazy and apathetic town staff for the stop sign falling down. We think we are right, simply due to a history of incompetence and disinterest from our current director of Public Works, kelly church. It has been repeatedly proven he has failed to do his job, yet council have nothing but praise and raises for this interloper. More proof council has failed to uphold section 224 of the Municipal Act.
As far as we know, no one was killed or maimed when this stop light fell due to “severe weather”. If someone was injured, criminal negligence charges should be filed against whoever is responsible and dragged away in cuffs, unless it was the severe weather of course..
