(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a mischief at a Landon Street, Turkey Point, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, June 6, 2015 at approximately 1:31 a.m., police observed an unknown male forcibly remove a stop sign from the intersection of Landon Street and Cedar Drive. The male was approached by police who immediately fled from the area. Officers located the male after a brief foot pursuit and took the male into custody without further incident.
A 17 year old male of Norwich, Ontario has been charged with mischief endanger life.
The name of the youth is not being released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
He will appear in a Simcoe, Provincial Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
