Stolen Vehicle Strikes House – $50,000 In Damage

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a fail to remain collision involving a stolen vehicle.

On August 19, 2013 around 1:00 a.m. officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision on LaRose Crescent in Chatham. A stolen 1999 white Dodge Ram pick-up truck had been driven into a lower window of a residence causing approximately $50,000 damage. No one in the residence was injured.

Officers found the truck still running yet the driver had fled the scene. Damage to the truck was estimated at $10,000. The truck was stolen from the Primrose Lane area.
