(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On June 21, 2018, at approximately 5:30 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a commercial break, enter and theft from a property on Trafalgar Road, Thames Centre.
The investigation revealed that suspects had breached the property fencing by force and stole a vehicle and utility trailer.
Officers attended the scene and conducted a canvass of the area and forensic examination of the crime scene. Upon further investigation, a vehicle previously reported to the London Police Service was recovered by OPP in the vicinity.
Detectives of the OPP Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) were engaged in the investigation and quickly recovered the stolen vehicle and arrested a male party.
As a result, 42-year-old, Wade BOUDREAU of London, Ontario has been charged with the following offences pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada;
Theft of Motor Vehicle
Break, Enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence x 2
Possession Break In Instruments
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
Mischief Under $ 5,000
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused has held in custody and appeared in a London court room on June 22, 2018 to answer to the charges.
