(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment received a report of a stolen vehicle from a Colborne Street North, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, July 13, 2015 at approximately 10:53 a.m., unknowns attended the address and removed a motor vehicle that was parked on the roadway.
The vehicle was described as a silver coloured, 2005 Dodge Magnum.
Officers on patrol located the vehicle at the intersection of King Street and Main Street in Delhi, Ontario. Police stopped the vehicle and took the driver into custody without incident. The stolen motor vehicle was returned to its rightful owner.
As a result of investigation, police charged 34-year-old Mitchel Joseph GEE of Norfolk County, Ontario with theft of a motor vehicle and breach of recognizance.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
