Stolen Vehicle Recovered In Owen Sound

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On February 22, 2016 at approximately 4:02 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle, a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck, was taken from a driveway on Sideroad 4A in the Township of Chatsworth sometime after 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21st.

With the assistance of On Star, police located the vehicle on 12th Street East in Owen Sound. The vehicle was towed to Chatsworth OPP Detachment for forensic examination.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information which may assist police is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
