(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Monday, May 25, 2015 at approximately 11:14 a.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a stolen vehicle report received from Discount Car Rental on Thom Drive in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
The vehicle, a 2014 red Kia Soul with Ontario plates BVFS 840, had been rented for the period May 15th to May 19th to a 28 year old male from Northern Bruce Peninsula. When the vehicle was not returned on May 19th, and attempts to contact the suspect failed, the vehicle was reported stolen.
The Kia was recovered in Niagara Falls, Ontario, on May 25th with damage sustained to it.
Grey County OPP, with the assistance of Niagara Regional Police Service, continues to investigate.
