(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On October 10, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted in regards to the theft of a motor vehicle from a residence on Cowans Crescent. Initial investigation indicated that a 2000 Ford Focus had been removed from the driveway sometime overnight.
Less than two hours after receiving the report the vehicle was recovered in a field on an unassumed road near the intersection of Skyline Road and Taylors Road. The windows had been smashed out of the vehicle.
