(LITTLE CURRENT, ON) – On Friday January 23, 2015 at 8:30 pm the Ontario Provincial Police was contacted to check on an abandoned vehicle parked on Harbour View Road in Little Current. Upon arrival officers located a Blue Honda CRV with no driver around. Shortly thereafter another vehicle a Black Ford Pick-Up truck was located on Boozeneck Road also in Little Current. A check with the owners revealed these vehicles had been left at a local repair garage for repairs.
Upon checking with the owner of the garage another two recreational vehicles were missing. A Kawasaki ATV and an Arctic Cat snowmobile. Nearby trails were checked and both of these vehicles were recovered. Further investigation lead to two young person’s being charged a 15 year old and 17 year old male with two counts each of Theft Under $5000. .
