Stolen Vehicle From Hanover Recovered

(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On October 4, 2017 at approximately 8:43 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), together with the Dundalk Fire Department, responded to a report of a vehicle engulfed in flames in a field just off of Southgate Road 26 in the Township of Southgate.

The abandoned vehicle, a black 2016 Hyundai Elantra, had been reported stolen from Hanover on September 22, 2017.

Grey County OPP received information that the recovered vehicle was involved in a shop-lifting incident in Wasaga Beach earlier in the day. Three males and one female had been observed inside the vehicle.
