Stolen Vehicle Abandoned Near Harriston

(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On February 2, 2017, at approximately 5:52 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Southgate Road 22 in the Township of Southgate.

Investigation revealed that the vehicle, a white 2016 Ford F250 pick-up truck, was stolen sometime between midnight and 5:00 a.m. this morning by unknown person(s). The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were left inside the vehicle.

At approximately 6:00 a.m., Grey County OPP received information that the truck was found abandoned on Hwy. 9 near Harriston by Wellington County OPP.

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information which may assist to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
