Stolen Van Located

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Monday May 14, 2012, shortly after 8 a.m. Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a residence along Perth Road 121 north of Hesson where a van was reported stolen.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 10 p.m. on Sunday May 13th and 8 a.m. Monday May 14th, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and used the keys which had been left inside to drive away with the white 2007 Ford Econoline passenger van. The van had Ontario licence plates 7422VY attached to it.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Monday May 14th, OPP officers in Perth County were notified that a Listowel resident reported a suspicious passenger van was parked on a residential street in Listowel. Officers confirmed this to be the stolen van. The Perth County OPP is continuing to investigate this theft.
