Stolen Motorcycle Recovered – Colby Roberts Added To Hall Of Shame – 2nd Entry

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A motorcyclist’s inability to control his machine caught the attention of an alert Huron County OPP officer. On September 15, 2012 just before 1:00 p.m. a Huron OPP officer observed a male pushing a motorcycle along Bayfield Road near Bannockburn Line. The driver was having a difficult time climbing onto the bike; he tipped the motorcycle over and fell off it into the ditch. The officer checked on the uninjured male and asked for the ownership of the motorcycle. Officers observed the ignition had been damaged and subsequent checks revealed the 1995 Honda motorcycle was reported stolen from Waterloo. Police also determined the attached licence plate had been reported stolen from Goderich. A search upon arrest also revealed he was in possession of a small quantity of an illegal drug.

Colby ROBERTS, age 20, from Huron East has been charged with two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fail to Comply with a Condition of an Undertaking. He has a court appearance scheduled for November 5, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice- Goderich.
