Stilianos STRATAKOS – Drunk Driving On Hwy 401

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On October 31, 2016, at approximately 9:26 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a possible impaired driver travelling on Highway 401 eastbound, near Westchester Bourne.

Officers located the white Chrysler car, and conducted a motor vehicle stop on Highway 401 eastbound, east of Elgin Road. It was determined that the 68-year-old male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to an Oxford County OPP detachment for breath tests.

As a result of the police investigation, Stilianos STRATAKOS, from Mississauga, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on December 15, 2016.
