(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint early this morning at 12:18 am to the area of Young Street in the Town of New Tecumseth.
Nottawasaga OPP Officers located the vehicle on King Street and conducted a vehicle stop. By 12:20 am, Police had the driver arrested for Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle.
Charged is 22 year old Steven WARD of the Town of New Tecumseth, he is charged with Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle and Over 80 mgs of alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for a 7 day period.
The male will have his first appearance in court on November 14, 2013 to answer to these charges.
