(CENTRAL HURON, ON) On Thursday, November 17, 2011 at approximately 2:15 a.m., a Huron County OPP officer observed a northbound 1990 Mazda pickup truck quickly pull off the roadway into a laneway on Whys Line in Central Huron.
The officer pulled into the laneway and immediately the driver and passenger took off running from the vehicle. Officers were able to locate the male driver a short distance away in an open field. Subsequent investigation determined the vehicle was stolen from Brampton, ON.
As a result, Stephen FEDDES aged 41 from Central Huron, ON has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada and Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) Criminal Code of Canada. FEDDES is currently in custody with a court date to be determined. LP11325639
