(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 26 year old female with a drinking and driving offence at an Argyle St. Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Sunday December 14th, 2014 at approximately 1:00 am officers were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) check on Argyle St when a northbound red pickup truck appeared to evade the R.I.D.E. check by pulling into a private driveway.
Officers approached the vehicle and spoke with the lone female driver and while speaking with her signs of impairment by alcohol was detected which led to her arrest.
Charged with Driving a motor vehicle with more than the legal limit of alcohol is 26 year old Stefanie PETRACCA of Haldimand County, ON. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
