(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On March 23, 2015, just after 9:30 a.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a traffic stop on a Buick Lacrosse for a speeding violation on Highway 401 westbound, near Orford Road.
During subsequent OPP traffic investigation, the male passenger was found to be in possession of a small quantity of suspected marihuana and suspected Ketamine.
As a result, the passenger, 22 year old Andrei CONSTANTINESCU, from Richmond Hill, has been charged with Possession of Marihuana and Possession of Ketamine, under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on April 24, 2015, to answer to the charges.
The 19 year old male driver, from Thornhill, has been charged with Speeding, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
