(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – A Haldimand County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was conducting radar patrol on Highway 6 in Haldimand County.
At approximately 2:57 p.m. September 5th, 2014, the officer observed a White 2010 Mazda travelling at an extremely high rate of speed on Highway 6 South. The officer clocked the vehicle at over 60 km/h over the posted 80 km/h speed limit.
Arslan AHMED 23 years of age from the City of Edmonton was charged for Race Motor Vehicle (Highway Traffic Act of Ontario). The driver had his licence suspended for seven days and the vehicle he was driving was impounded for seven days.
