South Simcoe Police Daily News Release – 16Nov2016

Break and Enter

(Bradford, ON) On Tuesday, November 15, 2016, around 4 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to a home on Deer Run in Bradford for a break and enter. The home owner told officers that the rear basement window screen had been cut and the window pane had been smashed. No entry was made into the home. South Simcoe Police ask anyone with information to call or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police remind people to keep their windows and doors locked and call to 9-1-1 to report any unusual activity in their neighborhood.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle

(Innisfil, ON) On Tuesday, November 15, 2016, around 6:40 a.m., a stolen truck was located at a construction site near 20th Sideroad and Innisfil Beach Road. The white cube van had been stolen from Toronto and abandoned. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or contact Crime Stoppers.

Drive Under Suspension

(Bradford, ON) On Tuesday, November 15, 2016, around 11 a.m. South Simcoe Police stopped a vehicle on Simcoe Road in Bradford. The 51 year old Bradford man readily admitted that his driver’s licence was suspended. The driver is facing charges of Drive Under Suspension and Fail To Surrender Insurance. He will be in court in December. His vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Theft of ATV

(Innisfil, ON) On Tuesday, November 15, 2016, around noon, South Simcoe Police received a call from a Bradford man reporting his John Deere GATOR had been stolen from a property on the 14th Line of Innisfil. Sometime between November 9 and November 15, the culprits removed the all terrain vehicle from the remote location. Anyone with information on this theft is asked to contact South Simcoe Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
