(SOUTH PORCUPINE) – An officer with the South Porcupine Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Timmins man with Driving Under Suspension stemming from a routine traffic stop on November 29th, 2013.
The OPP officer had occasion to stop the driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze passenger vehicle for an alleged traffic violation.
Based on the routine investigative steps taken by the OPP officer, it was determined that the driver is currently under suspension in the province of Ontario.
Jonathan SHUMILAK, 26, of Timmins, Ontario, has been charged with Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He is required to attend Provincial Court in Timmins on January 9th to answer to the charge laid against him.
The vehicle was driven from the scene by a licenced driver.
In another incident, an officer with the Gogama Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Sudbury area man with Driving Under Suspension stemming from a routine traffic stop on December 1st, 2013.
The OPP officer had occasion to stop the driver of a 2011 GMC Sierra pickup truck for an alleged traffic violation.
Based on the routine investigative steps taken by the OPP officer, it was determined that the driver is currently under suspension in the province of Ontario.
Jeffery MCGLADE, 27, of Valley East, Ontario, has been charged with Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He is required to attend Provincial Court on March 24th to answer to the charge laid against him.
The vehicle was driven from the scene by a licenced driver.
