(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section have charged a 24 year old man following incidents during the month of July 2014. The male, a soccer coach in the east end of Ottawa, sexually assaulted a female minor on two occasions.
The Ottawa Police Service was contacted and after an investigation by the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section, the male was arrested and charged criminally.
The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section have charged Matthew Braithwaite, 24 years of age and of Bourget, with 2 counts of Sexual Assault and 2 counts of Sexual Interference of a Person Under 16 Years of Age. He is described as a physically fit white male, with blonde hair and clean shaven. He has been held in custody .
