(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On March 6, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a motor vehicle collision involving a snowmobile.
The collision occurred on Durham Road 20 where the snowmobile trail approaches the highway. Initial investigation indicates that a north bound snowmobile entered the roadway and struck an eastbound motor vehicle. No injuries were sustained.
As a result of the investigation Stephen RICHARDS, 48 years of age, of Blackstock, was charged with failing to yield, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
