(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently on the scene of a single vehicle crash which occurred at approximately 10:04 a.m. on January 13, 2015 at the intersection of Richmond Street and 8 Mile Road.
A snow plow was traveling west bound on 8 Mile Road, and turned north bound onto Richmond Street, when it struck a hydro pole on the north east corner of the intersection.
There were no injuries.
The hydro pole was damaged, hydro wires are down, and there is a reported power outage in the area. Hydro will be restored by the responding agency.
Although the roadway is not closed, motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
