SMILE COOKIE CAMPAIGN COMING TO COCHRANE

(COCHRANE, ON) Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign is hoping to beat last year’s success by raising more funds for local area D.A.R.E. programs. The tasty chocolate chip cookies will be sold again this year from September 23 to the 29 at the six Tim Hortons locations in Timmins, South Porcupine, Iroquois Falls and Cochrane.
The Cochrane and Iroquois Falls Tim Hortons locations are looking at surpassing last year’s contribution of nearly $3,500, as they welcome all patrons once more to support this worthy cause.

“The Smile Cookie campaign is a great way of promoting the program through community involvement and ensures that our local youth continue to get the best possible D.A.R.E. training throughout the year,” said OPP Community Services Officer Alain Cloutier. “Every year, our closely knit communities rise to the occasion by supporting us in our effort to provide tools that enable our children to make the right decisions. Overwhelming support in the past continues to spark a great sense of pride and gives us all a good reason to smile”.

Each “Smile Cookie” is going to be sold for $1 (tax excluded), with all proceeds going towards the D.A.R.E. program.
