Skyler MUTRIE – 105 in a 50

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) -On Sunday September 8, 2013, at approximately 6:53 am, Constable Henry Van Dyk of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit was conducting moving radar on Wellington County Road 124, near Brant Avenue, Guelph-Eramosa Township.

At this time and location, a 2003 Honda Civic was travelling well above the posted speed limit. Police clocked the vehicle on radar at 105 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

Skyler MUTRIE age 20 of Guelph has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on October 16, 2013 to answer to the charge.
