(Tamworth, ON) – On February 26, 2014 at approximately 5:00 PM, the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious incident in Tamworth.
Preliminary investigation can confirm that the OPP is investigating the death of 2 adult males, and serious, non-life threatening injuries to another adult male and an adult female. Both of these victims were transported to hospital.
There are 6 scenes involved in this investigation.
The Province’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) has been notified and has invoked their mandate. Further inquiries should be directed to SIU Communications at 416-622-2342.
