(SHARBOT LAKE, ON) – On July 25, 2013 at approximately 5:00pm, officers from the Sharbot Lake detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for service at a residence on Arden Road, Kennebec Township.
When officers arrived, they were confronted by an armed male. Shots were fired.
A 45-year-old male was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The Province’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) was notified and have invoked their mandate. Further inquiries should be directed to SIU communications at (416) 622-2342
