Signs Stolen

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) –The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a theft at a Windham Road 11, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at approximately 11:18 a.m., police received a call from a concerned resident after for sale signs went missing from the front of the residence.

Through the course of investigation it was determined that previous thefts have occurred resulting in unknowns removing the same signs from the lawn area.

The OPP is continuing to investigate and would like to remind residents to be vigilant in their neighbourhoods to report such incidents to police immediately. Anyone taking signs without authority to do so could be criminally charged with theft under or mischief under $5000, and have to attend court to answer to their charge.
