(ESSA, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from a business on King Street in Essa on March 22, 2014 at 11:58am reporting a theft from their business.
Officers attended and caught up to the shoplifter who was walking away from the scene.
Charged is 44 year old Peter PATRY of Essa Township, he is charged with Theft under $5000, Criminal Code of Canada, Consuming liquor in other than licensed premises, under the Liquor Licence Act (LLA) and Abandoning material that is likely to become litter, under the Environmental Protection Act (EPA). He will have an April court date for the Theft Under charge.
