(KENORA, ON) -Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Grassy Narrows man following a report of a male being robbed in Downtown Kenora. On Saturday April 5, 2014 at around 4:30 pm police received a report that a man had been assaulted and robbed and was in need of medical attention. Police attended and the victim was transported by ambulance with non life threatening but serious injuries.
As a result of this investigation 27 year old Sheldon LAND of Grassy Narrows has been charged with Robbery With Violence contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
