(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Norfolk County OPP Detachment and the London Police Service have arrested and charged a Norfolk County man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.
On August 8th, 2013 police executed a search warrant at a Norfolk County residence. As a result of this investigation, four computer systems and external media were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
On August 8th, 2013, police arrested Shaun Michael PARKIN, 35 years-old of Norfolk County, Ontario. He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Accessing Child Pornography and one count of Making Available Child Pornography. The accused will make a first appearance in court on September 17th, 2013 in Simcoe, Ontario at the Ontario Court of Justice.
The investigation is continuing.
