(SOUTHWEST OXFORD, ON) – On December 15, 2015 at approximately 7:28 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a possible impaired driver.
Officers located the motor vehicle, a silver Jeep sport utility vehicle (SUV), stopped in the middle of Pigram Line, in Southwest Oxford, Ontario. The driver, and lone occupant, was slumped over in driver’s seat.
Officers determined the male had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a London Police Service detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, 26-year-old Shane ROBERTSON, from Southwest Oxford Township, Ontario, has been charged with care or control while impaired (drug), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on January 21, 2016.
