(COLLINGWOOD,ON.) Members of the Crime Unit from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a sexual assault occurrence which recently took place in Collingwood.
On Friday December 2 2016 at approximately 3:30am, officers were called to attend an apartment located at 233 Saint-Paul Street in Collingwood for reports of a sexual assault. Investigation revealed that an unknown male gained entry into an apartment at 233 Saint-Paul Street and sexually assaulted the female resident.
The female victim suffered minor physical injuries and investigation is ongoing at this time.
