(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Sunday, September 22, 2013 at approximately 11:44 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report that several vehicles had been entered on Presqu’ile Road in the Township of Georgian Bluffs sometime after midnight. Items taken from the unlocked vehicles included an iPhone charger, cell phone chargers and sunglasses.
Grey County OPP is reminding the public that thefts from vehicles are a crime of opportunity. An unlocked door or an open window is an invitation to thieves. You can prevent thefts from occurring by remembering to always roll up the windows, lock the doors, and keep valuables out of plain view. Remember – “Lock it or Lose itâ€Â.
