(Tweed, ON) – On June 28, 2014 at 11:35 a.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway # 7 near Queensborough Road in the Municipality of Tweed. A vehicle travelling westbound on Highway # 7 crossed the centre line striking an eastbound pickup truck head on. The driver of the eastbound pickup truck was airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver of the westbound vehicle was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
