(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) -On December 14, 2013 at approximately 12:15 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious motor vehicle collision on Wellington County Road 21, west of Eighth Line, Centre Wellington Township. A 2006 Chevrolet driven by a 46 year old female from Cambridge was travelling westbound and struck an eastbound 2008 GMC van driven by a 53 year old male from Kitchener. There were no passengers in both vehicles.
Both drivers were taken by ambulance to a local hospital by Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The female was moved to a Hamilton hospital for further care and is in critical condition. The male suffered minor injuries.
Wellington County OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are continuing with the investigation.
