(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that took place on Sunday, August 3rd, 2014 at approximately 2:30 AM. Police officers responded to the area of St. Laurent Boulevard near Belfast Road for a report of a male who had sustained a single gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to hospital for a non-life threatening injury. The investigation is ongoing.
