(KINCARDINE, ON) – On April 18th, 2011 at 2:30 pm, members of the South Bruce OPP set up a check stop on Bruce Avenue in Kincardine to check for seatbelt use. A vehicle stopped and officers noticed the driver wasn’t properly buckled. Thomas WATSON, 40 years, of Kincardine Township was charged with Driver fail to properly wear seatbelt. The South Bruce OPP is reminding motorists of the OPP Spring Seatbelt Campaign that runs until April 23rd, 2011. All occupants of a vehicle must wear a seatbelt each time your vehicle leaves the driveway.
