(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment and the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a King St. Hagersville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Thursday March 20th, 2014 at approximately 11:15 pm Police executed a search warrant at the King St address and while searching the residence a quantity of illegal drugs were located and seized. The drugs seized included quantities of suspected Marihuana, Hydromorphone pills, and codeine pills. Also seized were three prohibited knives, drug trafficking related paraphernalia and a quantity of Canadian currency. Value of drugs, paraphernalia and currency seized is approximately $34,000 dollars.
Charged with Possession of illegal drugs for the purposes of Trafficking are 45 year old Antonio AMARAL, 21 year old Antonio AMARAL and 43 year old Julianna SEBESTYEN all of Haldimand County, ON. 45 year old Antonio AMARAL was also charged with Trafficking an illegal substance (Marihuana). 21 year old Antonio AMARAL was further charged with 3 counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon. All three are to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
