(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – During the morning hours of July 31st, 2014, members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Huronia West Street Crime Unit, Huronia West Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), Huronia West Emergency Response Team (ERT), Huronia West Crime Unit, Collingwood/Town of the Blue Mountain Street Crime Unit, Orillia OPP Crime Unit and members of the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drugs Central Barrie Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road #124.
As a result of this search warrant over a 100 Cannabis Marihuana plants were seized as well as a quantity of dried Cannabis Marihuana and a quantity of Percodan tabs.
OPP have charged a 28 year old male from Clearview Twp. with “Possession for the Purpose of Traffickingâ€Â, “Possession of Schedule II – Cannabis Marihuana†and “Possession of Schedule I – Other Drug†and a 27 year old male also from Clearview Twp. with “Possession for the Purpose of Traffickingâ€Â, “Produce a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana†and “Possession of Schedule I – Other Drugâ€Â. In addition Police have charged a 27 year old female from Clearview Twp. with “Produce a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana†in relation to this search warrant.
